We are offering the farm foods that can give you a full diet experience from our farm without having to go to different farms for each food item. Here is how it will work this year:
Farm work sheet for 2013/2014 growing season
The farm produces 8 products: Milk, Beef, lamb, pork, chicken, Thanksgiving turkeys, eggs, and vegetables. We also have other farm direct foods from other local/regional farms who share our same quality and sustainable practice. These will be available for purchase in our store as soon as we open. These products include vegetables, whole grain, fruit, honey and more…
We have decided the best way to sell our products this year is by the share. This business model is different than the online orders or the full diet models we have done in the past. Here is how it works: We have taken our total food production for each of our 8 products and divided it into manageable share quantities. As food producers we ask ourselves at the beginning of each season “How much food can we produce this year?” When we determine how much is available we then sell those "shares" to our customers until the shares run out. Food products that are produced/harvested weekly (like milk and eggs) are available as weekly shares. Food that is harvested seasonally (like the “you pick garden”) is called a seasonal share. Foods that are harvested once a year (like meat) are called annual shares.
These share options are available until the farm runs out of food/shares. Once you order your share of any product then that food will be reserved for you and no one else will have the chance to take your share. Your share order will be good for one year from the time you place your order. If you wish to change your weekly share to more food sometime in the year that will be fine as long as shares are still available. If you want to lower your weekly share that is okay any time in the year. It is okay to purchase as many shares as you want just fill it out on the order form.
The farm will produce this many shares this year: Milk 250 shares per week. Eggs 500 shares per week. You pick garden 100 seasonal shares per year. Beef share 100 beef (sold in whole, half, and quarter share). Lamb 50 (sold in whole and half shares). Pork 100 (sold in whole and half shares). Chicken 5000 = 500 shares Thanksgiving turkeys 500
Fill out this farm share form with the numbers of shares you want from our farm and we will reserve these quantities for you. All meat will be weighed after butcher is done cutting and wrapping to determine total price. The order chart below is a guideline of about what each animal will weigh. All meat prices subject to change depending on our production costs at time of butcher. We need 30 days from time of meat orders to the time you will receive your order. We need %75 of total of meat order to process your meat order and the remainder of it paid on or before the time of pickup. We prefer to have your animal harvested and delivered to you all at once but if you simply don’t have the freezer space we can keep your animal for you in a box with your name on it and give you portions of it weekly when you come pick up your other food. All meat must be paid for in full before any of it may be taken.|

We love fresh veggies,
fruits, pasture fed meats and raw milk at C’est Naturelle Farms, we love
milking and caring for our cows, raising delicious crops and we love that we
are able to offer our members access to these crops and products.
We also believe in
obeying the laws of the land. In order to accommodate both
our customers desire to
have raw milk, raw milk products and other raw produce available for them and
the current Oregon State Laws concerning the sale of raw milk we are offering
our customers part ownership in our dairy herd and a customizable portion of
the harvest in the garden.
Ownership agreement:
I/We___________________________
agree to purchase from today’s date
of_______________ and
for the duration of 12 months beginning _________ 2013 to ___________2014
part ownership in the dairy herd, beef herd, sheep flock, hog herd, chicken
flock and garden and the right to purchase a portion of the harvest of each. As
a partial owner of the harvest from the livestock and garden I agree to
compensate the farmer for pasturing, feeding, milking, and any required health
care for my animal at a per item/lb/bottle rate and to pay established prices
for any field crops or bulk food items.
I agree to pay an annual non-refundable
farm membership fee of $50 to become a member for this year.
.
I agree and understand
that “raw” milk, meat, eggs and/or produce/products which come to me direct
from the garden are raw agricultural products and I accept all of the health
benefits and concerns associated with them, and I do not hold C’est Naturelle
Farms responsible for any food borne illnesses associated with raw milk or raw
food consumption.
I have been informed and
understand that I (the farm member______________
____________) am
choosing to receive as part of my farm membership raw cow milk and/or raw agricultural
products which may be considered hazardous by the USDA and FDA . I will not
hold C’est Naturelle Farms, Vernie or William DeMille, any farm laborers, other
herd owners, or associated land owners responsible or liable for any injury, in
any way, after purchasing this membership and receiving the products of my cows
(namely raw cows milk, cream, or butter) or my garden harvest (consisting of any food products
raised, packaged, or produced, or provided by C’est Naturelle Farms), or my animals (including but not limited to beef cows, lambs, pigs, and poultry).
I understand that I will
not pursue any legal actions, suits, claims for relief, demands, damages, and
any other obligations, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, in law or
equity, direct or indirect, and whether now or in the future, for any injury or
death arising from use of this product what-so-ever. I understand and agree
that it is my responsibility to properly wash, cook, pasteurize, sanitize any
or all foods, and raw agricultural products I receive from this farm membership
so they are safe and properly prepared for human consumption.
I agree that my farm
membership is not transferable and that I will not sell my membership to anyone
else without the knowledge and agreement of C’est Naturelle Farms.
I understand as a farm
member that it is my responsibility to ensure that any product I receive is
cared for properly to guarantee its freshness and quality. Therefore I agree to
do the following:
1. Farm Members are
welcome to come to the market any day that we are open. We will have a
variety of fruits, vegetables, and grains for you to choose from. Because
there is a limited amount of fresh milk and eggs available on each pick-up day
we will offer it on a first-come, first-served basis UNLESS you choose a
specific, consistent pick up day, in which case we will bottle and reserve your
milk and eggs for you.
2. Keep your milk cold
(39F) during transport from the farm to your home. (in a cooler with ice works
great)
3. Keep a thermometer in
your fridge and set your thermostat to keep it between 37F-40F
4. Because you are a
herd owner you have the freedom to choose any of the available meat cuts in the
market at the price listed per package. The price will vary from cut to
cut. If you prefer to purchase a ¼, ½, or whole animal we can arrange
that for you at a set price per pound for the entire animal. We will need
to have you fill out and return the meat order form if you choose this option
and we will process your animal at the next available harvest date on our
calendar.
I/We understand this
release and hereby honor it:
